Despite the calendar reaching into early June, the cold temperatures and snow-covered ground remind the aspens to stay bare just a bit longer. This grove at nearly 10,000 feet (3700 meters) stands clustered near a small pond filled to the brim with excess water from an extraordinary winter in 2023.
